Kes denggi di S’gor naik 66 peratus

Kes demam denggi di Selangor terus menunjukkan peningkatan dengan 12,427 kes direkod sehingga 21 Februari, naik 66 peratus daripada 7,507 kes bagi tempoh sama tahun lepas.Pengerusi Jawatankuasa Tetap Kesihatan, Kebajikan, Pembangunan Wanita dan Keluarga Dr Daroyah Alwi berkata daripada jumlah kes itu sebanyak 29 kematian akibat demam denggi dilaporkan dalam tempoh berkenaan.
"Pada bulan Jan, jumlah kematian akibat demam denggi adalah sebanyak 17 kes manakala untuk bulan ini sehingga 21 Feb pula mencatatkan 12 kes yang mana menjadikan jumlah keseluruhan setakat ini adalah sebanyak 29 kes," katanya dalam sidang akhbar di Shah Alam hari ini.Beliau berkata daerah Petaling masih mencatatkan kes demam denggi tertinggi iaitu 5,967 diikuti Hulu Langat dengan 2,222 kes dan Klang sebanyak 1,824 kes.Mengulas lanjut, Daroyah berkata tapak pembinaan dikenal pasti menjadi faktor utama menyumbang kepada pembiakan nyamuk Aedes terutamanya di daerah yang mencatatkan kes demam denggi yang tinggi."Berikutan itu, Kementerian Kesihatan telah melaksanakan operasi bersepadu di tapak-tapak pembinaan sekitar Selangor bermula 10 Februari lalu, bagi membendung peningkatan kes denggi selain mengurangkan risiko jangkitan.Daripada 46 lokasi yang telah diperiksa, 45 daripadanya didapati positif dengan pembiakan nyamuk Aedes," katanya.Beliau berkata berikutan itu pemaju tapak pembinaan terbabit akan dikenakan tindakan mahkamah kerana kesalahan membenarkan pembiakan serangga pembawa penyakit di lokasi berkenaan.- Bernama

Ramai dalam kalangan anda menghantar mesej bertanyakan mengenai keadaan Encik Lee Kuan Yew. Terus berdoa untuk beliau kembali pulih," katanya.Saluran televisyen tempatan, Channel NewsAsia sebelum ini melaporkan bahawa stesen televisyen berkenaan telah mendapat pengesahan daripada pihak berkuasa  bahawa khabar angin itu adalah tidak benar.Dalam satu kenyataan pada Sabtu, pejabat Perdana Menteri Pejabat (PMO) berkata Lee telah dimasukkan ke Hospital Besar Singapura pada 5 Feb lepas kerana menghidap radang paru-paru yang teruk.Menurut kenyataan itu, keadaan beliau telah kembali stabil namun masih berada dalam ventilasi mekanikal di Unit Rawatan Rapi (ICU). Meanwhile, congressional Republicans edged closer to a partial government shutdown as they use a Department of Homeland Security funding bill to halt the president's actions.Against that backdrop, Obama is scheduled to speak at an "immigration town hall" sponsored by MSNBC and Telemundo at FIU, a highly diverse school with many international students.Jose Machado, 19, said he has plenty to be angry with the president about. The law student at nearby Miami Dade College only received his green card because his mother was deported to their native Nicaragua, leaving him behind in foster care where he became eligible to become a legal permanent resident."He's deported 2 million people, and we will never forget that," he said.But Machado hopes Obama receives a warm welcome Wednesday because of everything he has done recently to protect undocumented immigrants from deportation. Arutchelvan will be released today after a magistrate rejected police's request to remand him for investigations under the Sedition Act.His lawyer, Latheefa Koya, said magistrate Muslina Mohd Jamil rejected the application by police after hearing arguments by her and four others on his arrest."Police requested for four days remand but we argued they could record his statement without having to remand him."We also argued that if the remand application was granted, it would look like police were abusing their powers."Furthermore, as a public figure, Arutchelvan will give his full cooperation. After hearing our argument, the magistrate rejected the remand application," Latheefa said.She said police have until 7pm today to release Arutchelvan as they are only allowed to hold a detainee 24 hours without remand.Latheefa added that five lawyers were at the Dang Wang police headquarters today to represent Arutchelvan. Apart from her, former Bar Council president and activist Datuk Ambiga Sreenevasan and lawyer Syahredzan Johan were also present.Arutchelvan was detained at his house in Kajang yesterday evening and taken to Dang Wangi for investigations into statements he allegedly made on the Federal Court verdict on Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim's sodomy charge, last week.Police also seized his personal computer and other electronic equipment which may have been used by Arutchelvan in posting the allegedly "seditious" statements on Facebook.Arutchelvan is the latest opposition figure to be hauled up for allegedly criticising the Federal Court's decision to uphold Anwar's sodomy conviction and jail sentence.The PSM stalwart had allegedly said that the apex court's verdict was politically motivated.Last week, Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar warned that Arutchelvan along with several other opposition figures would be investigated for criticising the court's decision.Besides Arutchelvan, Khalid also named Fariz Musa, the head of PKR's Jingga-13 movement and PKR deputy youth chief Dr Afif Bahardin, both of whom had allegedly urged Anwar's supporters to hold demonstrations.On February 11, popular cartoonist Zulkifli Anwar UlHaque, or Zunar, was arrested for sedition over his tweet criticising the judiciary, hours after Khalid went on Twitter to warn of police action.Khalid had also singled out two opposition politicians, DAP's Taiping MP Nga Kor Ming and PKR's Pandan MP Rafizi Ramli, over their tweets allegedly critical of the Anwar verdict. – February 20, 2015.

Even then, Khalid eagerly said Dr Ko's statement should be investigated under the Sedition Act."This is clearly different from the exclusive interview with Sirul Azhar Umar. That is not hearsay. That is the truth," added Lim.He lodged the report yesterday at the Dang Wangi district police headquarters, after Malaysiakini published an interview with Sirul.Sirul said that he had acted under orders when he killed Altantuya Shaariibuu in 2006.But Khalid said yesterday "mere allegations" were not sufficient for the police to conduct investigations."DAP's police report is based on hearsay reported in the media. Section 110(1)(b) further states that the police need not proceed or further proceed if there is no sufficient grounds. เพื่อนๆ หลายคนที่กำลังสนุกกับเกมเศรษฐีบนมือถือ LINE Let’s Get Rich กันอยู่ บางคนอาจจะเข้าใจระบบการเอาชนะในเกมนี้ดีอยู่แล้ว แต่บางคนก็ยังไม่รู้ เพราะเกมเศรษฐีแบบกระดานที่เราเล่นกันในครั้งอดีตกาลนั้นมีการชนะแค่แบบเดียวคือการทำให้ฝ่ายตรงข้ามล้มละลาย แต่สำหรับเกม LINE Let’s Get Rich นั้นเพื่อนๆ สามารถคว้าชัยชนะได้ด้วย 4 วิธี ดังนี้ครับ 1. ทำให้ฝ่ายตรงข้ามล้มละลาย วิธีแรกเป็นวิธีเบสิกที่ใครๆ ก็เข้าใจ เมื่อฝ่ายตรงข้ามทอยมาตกบนที่ดินของเราและไม่มีเงินจ่ายค่าผ่านทาง 2 อย่างที่เขาจะทำได้คือ การกู้เงิน (ต้องใช้ทองในการกู้ และกู้ได้เพียงเกมละ 1 ครั้ง) และการขายเมือง ถ้าหากว่าทำทั้ง 2 วิธีนี้เงินยังไม่พอจ่ายค่าผ่านทางก็เป็นอันล้มละลายพ่ายแพ้ไป   2. Triple Victory เป็นการชนะแบบพิเศษซึ่งไม่เกี่ยวกับเงินสดที่เราถืออยู่ว่าจะมากหรือน้อยขนาดไหน โดยผู้เล่นฝ่ายไหนก็ตามที่ครองที่ดินครบ 3 สี จะได้ Triple Victory และถือว่าชนะเกมนั้นไปเลย ซึ่งการชนะแบบนี้จะได้ถ้วยรางวัลคะแนน x2 จากปกติครับ

4. Tourism Victory เป็นการชนะแบบพิเศษเช่นเดียวกัน โดยผู้เล่นฝ่ายไหนก็ตามที่ครองที่ดินประเภทสถานที่ท่องเที่ยวทั้ง 5 ที่ได้แก่ ภูเก็ต บาหลี ฮาวาย เกาะบินตัน และโคตาคินาบาลู ได้สำเร็จทั้งหมด จะถือเป็นผู้ชนะแบบ Tourism Victory โดยจะได้รับถ้วยรางวัลคะแนน x5 จากปกติ

A private company, led by a Louisiana businessman, has bought the vessel and vows to return it to service next year.(Photo: Provided)CINCINNATI — It appears the Delta Queen is preparing for another voyage.A private company led by Louisiana businessman Cornel Martin closed on a deal Tuesday to buy the venerable paddle-wheel vessel from its previous owner, TAC Cruise LLC, for an undisclosed sum, according to a press release posted on the company's Facebook page.Martin, president and chief executive of the Delta Queen Steamboat Co., said his goal is to complete extensive mechanical and hotel renovations on the vessel and return it to service in 2016. Previous estimates called for renovations to cost about $7 million.Martin said the company is made up of several longtime supporters who want to preserve and restore the vessel."My partners and I are thrilled to be taking this critical first step toward the preservation and restoration of this important piece of American and river history," said Martin, president and chief executive of Delta Queen Steamboat Co. "We look forward to the day when the Delta Queen will once again be able to ply America's waterways and allow passengers to relive the experiences of Mark Twain and his unique cast of river characters from the decks of a true 1927 steamboat."Returning the vessel to operation could prove tricky after two U.S. Senate Democrats last year successfully blocked efforts by U.S. Sens. Sherrod Brown, D-Ohio, and Rob Portman, R-Ohio, to get the boat moving again.The lawmakers from Ohio sought to exempt the Delta Queen from a 1966 safety law that bars wooden vessels such as the 88-room Delta Queen from carrying 50 or more passengers on overnight journeys. Critics call the boat a potential fire trap that could put passengers at risk and tarnish the entire paddle-wheel cruise industry.When reached in December, U.S. Rep. Steve Chabot, R-Westwood, said he planned to reintroduce legislation in the House to help the Delta Queen resume operations.The Delta Queen began service May 20, 1927, in California. It is deemed the last steamboat of its kind with a wooden superstructure accommodating passengers on overnight river cruises.After a brief period of service in the U.S. Navy during World War II, the vessel was sold as war surplus to Capt. Tom Greene, who owned Greene Line Steamers in Cincinnati. The vessel was located in Cincinnati from 1946 until 1985. It was in New Orleans until 2008.The vessel most recently operated as a dockside hotel in Chattanooga, Tenn., from 2009 until 2014.The Delta Queen is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is classified as a National Historic Landmark. ผงลึกลับเป็นไอเทมที่ใช้สำหรับการเปิดลูกบาศก์ โดยถ้าเราได้รับลูกบาศก์มาตอนจะกดเปิดลูกบาศก์ระบบจะขึ้นให้เลือก 2 อย่างคือ หมุนธรรมดา และใช้ผงลึกลับ หากเลือกหมุนธรรมดาเราจะเสียใบโคลเวอร์ 1 ใบ และจะเป็นการเปิดลูกบาศก์แบบธรรมดา แต่หากเลือกใช้ผงลึกลับสิ่งที่เกิดขึ้นคือ ระบบจะเพิ่มพลังวิเศษให้กับลูกบาศก์นั้น กลายเป็นลูกบาศก์ที่เปิดแล้วจะได้ของมากกว่าปกติ

จะสังเกตได้ว่าลูกบาศก์บางลูกมีพลังวิเศษอยู่ โดยจะมีข้อความเขียนกำกับไว้ว่า “รู้สึกได้ถึงพลังวิเศษจากลูกบาศก์” ลูกบาศก์ที่มีพลังวิเศษแบบนี้เมื่อผู้เล่นเปิดแล้วจะได้รับไอเทม 2 อย่าง ต่างจากลูกบาศก์ธรรมดาที่เปิดแล้วได้ไอเทมเพียงอย่างเดียว
